Jackson See Sweh Yong

Chairman, Singapore Contemporary Advisory Board, Art Patron and Collector

An avid art collector and patron of the arts, Jackson See has been collecting works from both north and south Asia for the past 25 years. In 2012, he was a member of the Tate Modern’s Asia Pacific Acquisition Committee. See has been key in helping to develop the required infrastructure in Singapore necessary to nurture young artists and to provide them with viable career paths. He endeavours to identify and support young talented visual artists and supports non-profit organisations such as Art Outreach, a non-profit that teaches art outside of the classroom and instead, inside a gallery or museum. His hope is to see the next generation of creative minds flourish in Singapore.
